To eat well while trying to lose cholesterol, do not skip meals. It might seem like skipping meals is an easy way to lose cholesterol, but skipping meals actually makes your body hold on to fat. Eat three times a day, even if you are not hungry.

Cook meals in advance and portion them out to the appropriate sizes. Having a freezer filled with healthy meals that could easily be reheated will help you stay away from buying pizza or ordering fast food. Cooking in bulk can often save you money because you can buy fresh ingredients in bulk and then use them all. This will keep them from being spoiled while in the drawer.
